Fubbles // scribble functions

Demo of my research into drawing as an interface for creating live-codeable functions in real time. Time-based parameters in live coding are often expressed by functions of time (such as a sinusoid/LFO), or by a pattern/sequence of numbers. I have been experimenting with using the x and y parameters of a drawing as a way to generate these functions or patterns. Dragging the mouse in a drawing generates a sequence of X and Y values in time.  These values are looped to create a repeating pattern, and assigned to a variable which can be used to control parameters in live coding visuals or music. Multiple scribble functions can be updated live as they are being used, creating a flexible gestural control interface to a live-coded program.
